Our Commitment to Protecting Your Hair with Adhesive-Free Hair Extensions
At The Rosewood Salon, we are committed to providing exceptional hair services. But not only that, we are deeply invested in protecting your hair to ensure any service you receive does not damage your hair strands, scalp, or overall integrity of your hair.
On top of that, each of the stylists at Rosewood have received extensive training in hair extensions. We have learned every method that is out there, from tapes, to bonds, to individual micro links. Our overall consensus for quality, damage-free hair extensions that deliver the clients desired look and are not a pain to upkeep are adhesive-free extensions. This includes sew ins and Invisible Bead Extensions (also known at our salon as Rosewood Rows).
But this being said, we know you have a lot of options when it comes to extension services. There are countless trends that have risen in popularity in recent years. So while we understand that many stylists are doing what they are trained on and have access to, we feel strongly about providing only the best hair extension services at our salon.
In order to provide this high-end service with the top-of-the-line products, we hope you take the time to understand the WHY behind this decision for us. By providing you this education, we hope you can make the ideal choice to partner with us in your hair extension journey.
Why Adhesive-Type Hair Extensions Are Bad For Your Hair
When it comes down to it, we are not fans of glues or tapes that create a bonding on the natural hair. In our professional opinions, these have the most risk involved with damaging the natural hair follicles and they are the hardest extension methods to maintain for clients at home.
The last thing we want is for any client to struggle with at-home care. We know this makes it incredibly difficult to continue investing in your hair extensions, and that’s not what we want. We want your experience to be completely positive as the extensions can bring more fullness, volume, length, and an overall desired look.
Lastly, hair extensions that require adhesive cause the most damage during the removal process. When not removed correctly, it causes damage to your strands and your hair integrity suffers the most.
The Rosewood Salon Hair Extension Methods
At Rosewood, we stand by our commitment of creating healthy hair transformations.
We currently offer two different types of extensions.
Extension Method #1: A Protective Style aka Our Traditional Sew Ins
Our traditional sew ins are adhesive free and natural-hair friendly. This process involves the bulk of your hair being braided down, with a protective net placed on top and the extensions sewn in. This also includes an in-person consult, color matching, trim, style, and a take-home care kit.
Extension Method #2: An Unprotected Style aka Rosewood Rows (Invisible Bead Extensions)
Rosewood Rows require no glue, no tape, no heat, and have less points of contact on your natural hair, giving less opportunity for damage. Rosewood Rows Extension Services include a trim, color matching, in=person consult, take home care kit, and style.
Understand the Difference Between Hair Extension Methods
The main difference between our two hair extension methods is the amount of hair you would like to leave out. This can be discussed during your consultation. While these methods are both similar because they require a needle and thread to install the extensions, neither require any glue. Beyond that, they create the dream hair you’re looking for each and every time.
Both extension methods, when cared for properly, can last up to 8 weeks before a reinstall. Additionally, because they are adhesive-free, you have the ability to reuse your extensions again on future installs. Isn’t that just the best?
Going Adhesive-Free With Your Hair Extensions at Rosewood Salon
If you are new to hair extensions, we cannot recommend more opting for application methods that don’t use adhesive. It is the best option for protecting your hair and avoiding hair loss and damage.
